What do I get for free?
A full AI-generated preview of your actual site — your business, your industry, your content — watermarked, with a few chat edits to try the experience. No credit card. Free previews draw from a limited monthly pool, so if we are at capacity, check back soon.
What are looks?
Seven complete designs — type, colour, layouts, motion and how sections alternate — that every site is built inside. Pick one in the wizard or let the AI choose; switch it in one tap from the editor, free, without touching your content. They are not templates: your pages and sections stay yours, only the way they are drawn changes.
Is the CMS an extra cost on top?
No. theDavid CMS, hosting, SSL, CDN and backups are all inside the plan price — the number on the pricing page is the number you pay. Your site is not a static page, it is a running business: orders, inventory, menus, bookings and donations all live in the CMS, so it comes with every plan rather than being sold as an add-on.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Starter and Pro — connect a domain you already own, or one you buy anywhere. The cheaper Publish plan goes live on a theDavid subdomain instead, so you can be online first and move to your own domain when you are ready.
Do you take a cut of my sales?
Never. Payments run through your own Stripe account at Stripe standard rates — the same 2.9% + 30 cents the large platforms charge, since several of them are built on Stripe too. We add nothing on top of that, and there are no per-page or traffic fees.
Can I take my code somewhere else?
That is the plan. Code export (coming soon, from $490) gives you the actual Next.js source behind your site — clean, human-grade code any developer can read, not AI spaghetti. Keep the CMS powering your live data, or take a fully standalone export and host it anywhere.
What happens if I cancel?
Your site unpublishes at the end of your billing period, and we keep your data for 30 days so you can come back or export before anything is deleted. Paid plans also carry a 7-day money-back guarantee, so trying is genuinely low-risk.
