Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Websites built with Digital Potter are hosted on our shared infrastructure, so what one site does affects everyone. This policy sets the rules. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Scope

This policy applies to every site on the platform — free previews, sites on our subdomains, and sites on custom domains — and to your use of the builder and the AI itself.

2. Prohibited content

You may not host or publish:

  • Content that is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
  • Child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance; we remove it, terminate the account, and report it to the authorities.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or someone’s privacy or publicity rights.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or content that promotes violence against people or groups.
  • Sexually explicit content.
  • Content that is deceptive or fraudulent, including fake reviews, counterfeit goods, and impersonation of a person or business.

3. Prohibited activities

You may not use the platform to:

  • Run phishing pages or harvest credentials or personal data under false pretenses.
  • Distribute malware or link visitors to it.
  • Send spam, or use hosted forms and email features for bulk unsolicited messages.
  • Operate scams, pyramid schemes, or get-rich-quick schemes.
  • Probe, overload, or abuse the platform or the AI — including attempts to bypass usage limits, scrape other customers’ sites, or manipulate the AI into ignoring its rules.

4. Commerce rules

If you sell through your site: no illegal goods or services, regulated products only with the licenses the law requires, and honor the prices, shipping, and refund promises you make to your own customers.

5. Reporting abuse

To report a site that violates this policy, email hello@digitalpotter.io with the site’s URL and a short description of the problem.

6. Enforcement

We may unpublish content, suspend sites, or terminate accounts that violate this policy — with notice where practical, immediately where the violation is severe. Fees are not refunded for terminations caused by violations, consistent with the Terms of Service.

7. Changes

Updates to this policy are posted here with a revised date at the top.
