Once your site is generated, the editor opens with a chat panel on the left and your real site on the right. This is the fastest way to make a change — describe it, and Messiah does the work.

  1. Describe a change in plain words

    The chat panel on the left is where you tell Messiah what to change — there is no menu of settings to hunt through. Type something like "make the hero headline shorter," or tap one of the starter prompts ("Make it feel warmer," "Add a testimonials section," "Try a different font pairing") to send it as-is. Press Enter to send; Shift+Enter adds a line break if your request needs more than one line.

  2. Choose how far a change reaches

    Above the message box, a toggle switches the change between "This page" and "Whole site." "This page" only touches the page you're currently viewing and costs a single credit. "Whole site" reads and can rewrite every page, so it costs one credit per page — the first time you pick it, a confirmation screen spells out the cost before anything runs.

  3. Watch it apply in the live preview

    The center pane is a live draft preview of your site, not a mockup — it reloads automatically the moment your change is applied. Use the desktop and mobile icons above it to check how the change looks on a phone, or click Open to view the current page in its own browser tab.

  4. If a change doesn’t land

    When something goes wrong, Messiah says so in the chat instead of leaving you stuck — a plain message explains that nothing was applied and no credit was spent, so you can just rephrase and try again. Running out of credits only stops chat edits specifically; manual edits in the Design and Sections tabs keep working for free, and the message that appears includes a "Get more credits" button that goes straight to your billing page.

  5. Undo a change you don’t want

    The Undo button next to your credit count, in the bar above the editor, reverses your most recently applied change — chat or manual — and shows a small "Change undone" confirmation. It stays disabled while another change is still in progress, so you never undo out from under a request that hasn’t finished.

    Watch out

    Undo steps back through your changes one at a time, with no redo — and publishing clears that history. Once you publish, Undo can no longer reach anything from before it.

What’s the difference between a chat edit and a manual edit?

Chat edits go through the message box and cost credits — one for a single page, more for a whole-site request. Manual edits made in the Design and Sections tabs are always free, no matter how many you make.

Can I undo more than one change?

Yes — Undo steps back through your recent changes one at a time, in the order you made them. There’s no redo, and publishing clears the history, so Undo can only reach as far back as your last publish.
