Choose a plan
Publish ($19.99/mo) puts your site live on a theDavid subdomain — everything works, you just don’t have your own domain yet. Starter ($29.99/mo) adds a custom domain and the full admin. Pro ($49.99/mo) adds more AI credits and a priority generation queue for a site that keeps changing. All three include theDavid CMS, hosting, SSL, CDN, and backups — there is no separate platform fee on top.
Note
A custom domain is included on Starter and Pro. On Publish, your site stays on its free subdomain until you upgrade.Go live
Publishing takes your generated preview off its watermarked, limited-edit state and makes it a real site — full CMS access, unlimited manual edits, and the free subdomain active immediately. There is nothing else to configure to get online: hosting, SSL, and the CDN are already running underneath it.
Point your own domain at it
From the Domains section of your site’s dashboard, connect a domain you already own — we show the DNS records to add at your registrar — or buy a new one right there and skip the DNS step entirely, since we manage that domain’s zone for you. Either way, connecting a domain only unlocks once the site itself is published.
Run your business from theDavid admin
Once you are live, day-to-day work happens in theDavid admin — the same dashboard our agency clients run their businesses on. Fulfill orders, update inventory, manage bookings, and edit page content, all without touching code.
Keep publishing changes
A live site is not a finished one. Content edits made in theDavid admin go live in seconds, and you can keep chatting with the editor to add pages, restyle sections, or reshape the site as your business changes — no redeploy, no developer required.
Frequently asked
Do I need my own domain to publish?
No — every plan includes a free theDavid subdomain that is active as soon as you publish. A custom domain is available on Starter and Pro whenever you are ready for one.
What happens to my domain if I downgrade or cancel?
Your site unpublishes at the end of the billing period and we keep your data for 30 days. A connected custom domain stops resolving to your site when it unpublishes, but the domain itself is yours to point elsewhere if you own it outright.
